About PT-141
PT-141, sometimes referred to as Bremelanotide is a peptide hormone that derived from Melanotan II. Melanotan II (MT2) was developed for the purpose of promoting tanning, but more than 90% of all subjects during testing were found to have great increases in libido, sensitivity, performance and sexual satisfaction. These effects held true in both men and women tests subjects with the enhanced effect of male erection function being the most surprising.

The effects of PT-141 on sexually related effects are approximately 50 times greater than MT2.

PT-141 effects
The effects of PT-141 are fairly straightforward, improvements in sexual desire (libido), improvements in sexual satisfaction (also libido related) and erectile dysfunction. A lack of libido can lead to erectile dysfunction and cause sex to be far less enjoyable. If we can increase or enhance libido these effects can be reversed.

In the modern age, especially when it comes to erectile dysfunction the use of PED5 inhibitors such as Viagra (Sildenafil), Levitra (Vardenafil) and Cialis (Tadalafil), or their generic versions such as Kamagra, have been dominant. However, it's important to note that PED5's do not affect libido they only affect erections. A man may still have a strong libido but an inability to obtain an erection due to a blood flow issue. Through PED5 use this problem may be resolved and is more often than not.

The benefits of PT-141 on libido appear to be just as strong in women as they are in men.
